If you’ve been standing in faith for the promises of God, I want you to know today that your time is coming! The dreams and desires in your heart, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Don’t give up just because it has taken a long time, or just because you’ve tried and failed.
I encourage you today—get your fire back! Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you’ll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put it there, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass.
Declare today, “My time is coming…God is working behind the scenes on my behalf…I will fulfill my destiny…I will fulfill the plan God has for my life!” As you declare, expect, and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow. Your hope will grow. And you’ll step into the destiny God has in store for you!

When God puts a dream in your heart, when He puts a promise on the inside, He deposits within you everything you need to accomplish that dream. He wouldn’t give you the desire to do something without giving you the ability to fulfill it. In fact, the scripture tells us that God gives us the desires of our heart. In other words, He puts the desire inside of us and then works with us to bring it to pass.
Oftentimes, people set out to accomplish their dreams, but they face a setback or disappointment, and then they feel like their time has passed. But let me tell you today, no matter where you’ve come from, no matter what’s happened in your past, God wants to make you new. He wants to give you a “do over,” a fresh start. If you feel like you’ve missed opportunities in your life, if you feel like your time has passed, remember, today is a new day. You are a new person, and God has new opportunities in store for you. If one dream has died, it’s time to dream a new dream.
For you are God’s own handiwork, recreated in Christ that you may do the good works that God predestined….(Ephesians 2:10).
You are God’s special handiwork — equipped and anointed to be the person God has called you to be! The Bible says in Psalms 139 that God knew who you were before you were ever formed in your mother’s womb. You have unique gifts, abilities and talents, and God has a unique plan for your life.
The enemy may try to make you think you have to conform to the opinions of others, but if you are secure in who God made you, then you can resist those outside demands and pressures that try to mold you into something you are not.
As you continue to grow in your relationship with the Lord, through prayer, worship and fellowship with other believers, you will gain confidence in the Lord that will free you from the opinions of man and allow you to be the person God called you to be!
